The Al-haidary Trading Corporation is a national giant retailer and trading company comprising of 3 companies and more than 120 employees all over Yemen. The interests of ATCO include general consumer electronics, professional Equipment and medical, medication, and Photographic Equipment.
We are one of the largest distributors of Sony products in the region and we also represent such renowned global companies such as Sony, Fujifilm, ViewSonic, Kenwood, Sansui, Olympus, Hyundai Lightining, Fujinon, Bluem, Durr Dental, MegaGen, OsteoBiol and B&Medi among others. Further, since its inception, ATCO has led the way with a comprehensive electronic marketing strategy with emphasis on providing good quality products and services. ATCO Company is a Multi-operational company with five main business units; SONY Group, Photographic & Medical Equipment, Medication Information Technology and HDSON industrial group, Project group.
An important factor that has contributed to ATCO’s success is our ability to adapt itself to the needs of the times. In the last 45 years, ATCO manifested its acumen and willing to take critical decisions at crucial junctures. Mr. Mohammed Al-Haidary founded Al-Haidary Trading company in Sana’a, Yemen
Development of Consumer division
Growing business from general electronics retail store to a specialized company. In 1980, the company takes it’s first step in electronics business and initiate consumer electronics division.
SONY exclusive agent in Yemen
In 1982, Al-Haidary Trading Company became officially the exclusive agent of SONY brand in Yemen
PENTAX & OLYMPUS exclusive agent
In 1992, Al-Haidary Trading Corp became the exclusive agent of PENTAX & OLYMPUS Japanese companies
FUJIFILM Exclusive Agent
After getting good sales and a high number of customers in Yemeni Market, we decided to grow our business and became FUJIFILM exclusive agent in the Republic of Yemen.
